I’ve been drawing Jailbird for years (the #jailbird tag on my personal Tumblr doesn’t even cover an eighth of the changes made over the years) but could never settle on a look. When I went, “OKAY. I HAVE to make this comic, NOW!!” last winter, I spent two weeks drawing her over and over, every day.
